Day 1: Arrival at Cochin
On arrival at the Cochin airport, our representative will greet and escort you to your hotel. On arrival, after a traditional welcome at the lobby, check in, refresh and relax amidst the many recreational facilities offered at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.
Day 2: Munnar
Drive to Munnar, a fabulous hill station in Kerala, after breakfast at the hotel. En route, enjoy the scenic countryside - misty hills covered in spice plantations, waterfalls and green meadows. Trek through the earmarked trails or enjoy picnics at the spectacular waterfalls. On arrival, check in at the hotel and proceed of a sightseeing tour that includes visits to Pothamedu's tea, coffee and spice plantations, Devikulam, Pallivasal hydro electric project, Mattupetty dairy farm, and Eravikulam National Park. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar - Thekkady
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Periyar National Park, Thekkady. On arrival, check in at the forest lodge and proceed on a nature walk to the Periyar National Park. However, a boat cruise on the Periyar Lake is considered to be the best way to explore the flora and fauna of Periyar, hidden within its depths. For instance, you can catch the quirky habits of elephants as they descend on the Periyar Lake for a ritualistic bath. For bird lovers, there are the woodland birds, darters and coromants to keep them company. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Periyar.
Day 4: Thekkady - Cochin
Drive to Cochin after breakfast at the lodge. On arrival in the natural port town and the commercial gateway of South India, check in at the hotel and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Cochin that includes visits to Fort Cochin, St Francis Church, oldest Synagogue, Jew Town, Mattancherry and Bolgatty Palaces, Buildings from the Dutch, Portuguese and English era, Chinese fishing nets, Kochi Harbor, the splendid beaches of Vypeen islands. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 5: Departure from Cochin
After breakfast at the hotel, indulge in last minute shopping, catch-up on city sightseeing, or go on another boat cruise through the backwaters. Later in the day, transfer to the international airport to board the flight back home or to your onward destination.
